Gone Girl is one of my favorite movies with elements of a psychological thriller that unpacks problems within marriage, trust, and fraud.
In most instances, movies like Gone Girl often delve into the dark sides of relationships and human nature to give the audience suspense, mystery, and plot twists.
More often than not, such themes as betrayal, manipulation, and the quest for truth are recurring, as a story keeps an audience on their toes in piecing together the puzzle laid before them.
In these movies, suspense builds slowly to the unexpected and thought-provoking ending. It is in this blend of crime, drama, and suspense that movies like Gone Girl provide an engaging search into the human psyche and how far people will go to protect their secrets.
This post is mainly for movie fans, especially those who have already watched the movie Gone Girl or searching for movies like Gone Girl.
