Initially, it begins very simply but eventually evolves into a battle anime with superpowers, wild fights, and peculiar powers for its characters.
The show has a lot of humor, action, and some really extreme moments, much like Kill la Kill. The animation isn’t as crazy but is good, and the story is decently paced.
The second season, Medaka Box Abnormal, focuses more on fights and powers. If you want an anime with school fights, unique powers, and a strong main character, you might like this.
But if you want something with Kill la Kill’s nonstop energy and wild animation, this may not be the best pick. Still, it’s worth a try.
